Well finally Witcher fans have had to wait far too long for this
CD Projekt Red seems to be following Bethesda’s example and is giving fans previously unimagined options.
The Witcher is as present as a brand as ever. Think of the third season of the Netflix series , the comeback of the books or the multitude of upcoming video games from CD Projekt Red. The fan base should be particularly happy about The Witcher 4 , even if the game does not yet have an official name. However , one of the most important projects in the brand’s history is almost lost in discussions about the series adaptation or the working conditions at the Warsaw studio.
The Witcher 3 as a paradise for mods?
After all, The Witcher 3 belongs (buy now for €25.89) one of the ten best-selling video games of all time according to Forbes. Over 50 million people have bought the role-playing game about Geralt, Ciri and Co. Not surprisingly, you can tinker with the title on the PC with a lot of mods. There are endless pages of YouTube tutorials, especially for graphics updates in the direction of ray tracing or similar.
In the coming year, however, CD Projekt Red would like to take a significant step further. Bethesda in particular has made a positive impression with titles like Fallout 4 or The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim in terms of the modability of their games. When customers bought the role-playing games, they were sent tools for crafting. Now CD Projekt Red is also planning to release a so-called mod editor. This is scheduled to appear in 2024 and will, among other things, allow you to build new quests or edit existing quests.
According to the developer, the tool is intended exclusively for the PC. Now the question arises: How much have you tinkered with the third Witcher title so far?
