GTA 6 Rockstar Universe with further internals for release
Rockstar Universe wants to know more internals about the release of GTA 6. Accordingly, it shouldn’t start until 2025.
Rockstar Games has confirmed the trailer for GTA 6 for December to mark the company’s 25th anniversary, putting an end to the rumors. But that’s just where the rumor mill starts. The release of the game is now being discussed a lot. Traditionally, Rockstar Games releases its games around a year after the initial announcement. However, many do not assume that Rockstar Games will make the Christmas 2024 date for GTA 6. Including Rockstar Universe.
An internal source had already told them about the announcement for the end of 2023 last year. The rumors increased in October. The basis for this was that Sam Houser was in New York to find out about the status of development and to have discussions with the management at Rockstar and Take Two – as well as an advertising agency. This is intended to secure large advertising spaces in America and secure them until the end of December.
At the same time, it is said that there will be no more major updates for GTA 5 Online after the winter DLC that has been inserted, which was not initially planned. For 2024 there will only be (seasonal) events while the staff prepares the release of GTA 6.
Another source has confirmed that GTA 6 is scheduled for a release in 2025. Apparently 2024 was originally in the roadmap, but that was postponed. Several sources have already reported that there will be no simultaneous release of the console and PC versions. Shifts are fairly common in games of this size; That could have been due to the leak or the corona pandemic or a thousand other things that could disrupt development.
